Job Title: Back Office Executive (Customer Support & Accounts)

Job Type: Full-Time

Location: Remote / Work From Home (Mandatory)

Industry: Hostel / Accommodation Services


Job Overview: We are hiring a proactive Back Office Executive to handle customer enquiries, convert bookings, and manage basic accounting tasks. This is a 100% Work From Home role, ideal for someone who is organized, communicative, and comfortable handling both customer interaction and backend operations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for all hostel enquiries (calls, WhatsApp, etc.)
  • Explain hostel facilities clearly and convert enquiries into confirmed bookings
  • Maintain professional and friendly communication with customers
  • Handle daily bookkeeping, including updating income, expenses, and payment records
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial entries
  • Support hostel operations through various back-office and administrative tasks
  • Take initiative to improve processes and ensure smooth day-to-day operations

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Fluency in Tamil (Mandatory)
  • Good communication skills in Hindi and English
  • Telugu language proficiency is preferred
  • Basic knowledge of accounting / bookkeeping
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setup
  • Proactive and responsible work attitude

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Prior experience in customer support / telecalling / sales
  • Familiarity with accounting tools/software is an advantage
  • Comfortable handling both customer-facing and backend responsibilities
