Business Development Executive (BDE)

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Business DevelopmentIdentify and generate new business opportunities in the Oil & Gas, EPC, Petrochemical, Offshore, and Industrial sectors.

• Conduct market research to identify potential clients and upcoming projects.
• Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

2. Lead GenerationGenerate leads through cold calls, LinkedIn, email campaigns, industry directories, exhibitions, and referrals.

• Identify EPC contractors, engineering consultants, OEMs, fabricators, and project owners.
• Qualify leads based on project scope and business potential.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM system.

3. Client Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.

• Understand client engineering requirements and business needs.
• Schedule meetings and presentations with decision-makers.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

4. Tender & Proposal SupportMonitor RFQs, RFIs, EOIs, and tender opportunities.

• Coordinate with the engineering team to prepare technical and commercial proposals.
• Follow up on submitted quotations and proposals.
• Maintain proposal status and submission records.

5. Sales & NegotiationPresent company capabilities and engineering services.

• Explain the company's expertise in:
• Structural Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Skid Package Engineering
• Pipe Stress Analysis
• Structural Analysis
• Lifting & Transportation Analysis
• 3D Modelling
• Fabrication Drawings
• Negotiate commercial terms within company guidelines.
• Convert opportunities into confirmed projects.

6. Market IntelligenceTrack industry trends and competitor activities.

• Identify upcoming Oil & Gas, Refinery, LNG, Power, and Renewable Energy projects.
• Maintain a database of potential clients and market opportunities.

7. Client MeetingsArrange online and in-person meetings.

• Conduct company presentations.
• Visit client offices when required.
• Participate in exhibitions, conferences, and networking events.

8. Internal CoordinationCoordinate with Engineering, Estimation, and Finance teams.

• Ensure timely submission of proposals.
• Communicate client requirements effectively.
• Track project handover after award.

9. ReportingUpdate CRM daily.

• Prepare weekly sales reports.
• Submit monthly business development reports.
• Maintain sales forecasts and opportunity pipeline.
