Job Title: Dairy Products Delivery Executive
Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu
Job Type: Full-Time / Part Time
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dependable and punctual Delivery Executive to join our team in Chennai. You will be responsible for the safe and timely supply of fresh dairy products from our main distribution hub to various local kirana shops and retail stores across the city.
Key Responsibilities:
- Route Execution: Follow assigned delivery routes to supply dairy products to area kirana shops efficiently.
- Product Handling: Safely load and unload dairy crates, ensuring products are kept in good condition and handled with care.
- Invoice & Stock Verification: Verify the quantity of products delivered against delivery challans and invoices.
- Payment Collection: Collect cash or digital payments from shopkeepers as per company policies and submit them daily.
- Timely Service: Maintain strict delivery schedules to ensure shops are stocked before peak morning or evening hours.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure your delivery vehicle (two-wheeler or small commercial vehicle) is regularly fueled, cleaned, and well-maintained.
- Customer Relations: Maintain a professional and courteous relationship with retailers, addressing any basic complaints or delivery discrepancies. [1, 2]
Requirements:
- Education: Minimum 10th pass or equivalent.
- License: Valid Driver's License for a two-wheeler (or light commercial vehicle, if applicable).
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in local delivery, logistics, or FMCG product distribution in Chennai.
- Local Knowledge: Strong understanding of Chennai routes, traffic patterns, and the ability to easily navigate local areas.
- Skills: Basic arithmetic for verifying invoices/cash, and basic smartphone proficiency to use navigation apps.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift and carry heavy crates of dairy products. [1, 2, 3]
