Job Description:
We are looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our dynamic team at Chennai Diesel Pvt. Ltd. The ideal candidate will be responsible for servicing, troubleshooting, and maintaining diesel generator sets of leading brands including Cooper, Kirloskar, Cummins, Greaves, Mahindra, and Ashok Leyland.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of diesel generator sets.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and ensure timely resolution.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and load testing.
- Handle on-site breakdown service calls efficiently.
- Maintain proper service reports and documentation.
- Coordinate with the service manager for spares and customer updates.
Requirements:
Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: 1–5 years of experience in DG set service (freshers with strong technical knowledge may also apply).
- Knowledge of: Cooper, Kirloskar, Cummins, Greaves, Mahindra, and Ashok Leyland DG sets preferred.
- Candidate: Male candidates only.
- Must have: Two-wheeler and valid driving license.
