Heavy Truck Driver,Badge Required

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate company trucks to transport furniture to customers, showrooms, and warehouses.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections before and after each trip.
• Ensure furniture is properly loaded, secured, and protected during transportation.
• Assist the loading and unloading team whenever required.
• Deliver furniture according to the assigned schedule.
• Obtain customer signatures on delivery notes and collect necessary documents.
• Report delivery issues, shortages, damages, or customer complaints immediately.
• Maintain delivery logs, fuel records, and vehicle maintenance records.
• Keep the truck clean and ensure regular servicing and maintenance.
• Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures.
• Coordinate with the warehouse and logistics team for delivery planning.
• Support warehouse operations during non-delivery hours if required.

Qualifications:

Minimum 10th/12th Pass.

• Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License (HGV) or applicable commercial driving license.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience driving trucks, preferably in the furniture, logistics, or retail industry.
• Good knowledge of local and interstate routes.
• Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and safety checks.
