Junior System Engineer

We are a growing gaming device rental company offering Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 consoles for rent. We are looking for a technically strong and customer-oriented Systems Engineer / Field Technician who can handle end-to-end installation, maintenance, and on-site customer support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and configure Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 consoles, controllers, headsets, and gaming accessories at customer homes.
• Provide hands-on guidance and training to customers on console setup, controller usage, account management, game downloads, and optimal gaming settings.
• Perform routine maintenance, firmware updates, cleaning, and performance optimization of gaming hardware.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to consoles, networking (Wi-Fi), HDMI, storage, and accessories.
• Manage device inventory — testing, cleaning, and preparing consoles for new rentals.
• Handle on-site repairs or quick device replacements when required.
• Maintain accurate service records and collect customer feedback.
• Ensure high-quality customer experience during every home visit.

Requirements:

• Strong technical knowledge of current-generation gaming consoles (Xbox Series X/S & PS5).
• Experience in hardware installation, troubleshooting, and basic repairs.
• Good understanding of home networking, Wi-Fi setup, and port forwarding.
• Excellent communication and teaching skills — ability to explain technical details to non-technical customers (including parents and children).
• Professional, punctual, and customer-friendly personality.
• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle (two-wheeler/four-wheeler) preferred.
• Willingness to travel within the city for installations and support.

Preferred Skills:

• Previous experience in IT support, computer hardware, AV installation, or gaming retail.
• CompTIA A+ / Network+ or any relevant certification.
• Knowledge of gaming peripherals (Elite controllers, racing wheels, capture cards, etc.).
