Job Description
We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in Special Purpose Machine (SPM) design. The candidate should be capable of developing machine concepts, 3D models, detailed manufacturing drawings, assemblies, and engineering documentation.
Key Responsibilities
● Design machine components, assemblies, and fabricated structures using Fusion 360 or SolidWorks.
● Prepare 2D manufacturing drawings with GD&T and detailing.
● Develop sheet metal parts, weldments, and fabrication drawings.
● Create and maintain BOMs, BOF (Bought-Out Finish Lists), and assembly documentation.
● Design using available materials and standard bought-out components.
● Coordinate with production and assembly teams for successful project execution.
Required Skills
● Proficiency in Fusion 360 or SolidWorks.
● Strong knowledge of:
○ 3D Part & Assembly Design
○ 2D Detailing
○ GD&T
○ Sheet Metal Design
○ Weldment/Fabrication Design
○ BOM & BOF Preparation
● Understanding of manufacturing and fabrication processes.
