Procurement Manager

Key Responsibilities:

1. Identify potential suppliers based on business requirements

2. Conduct supplier capability assessments (technical, financial, operational)

3. Manage vendor registration and onboarding process

4. Develop alternative sources to reduce dependency risks

5. Evaluate vendors on KPIs: quality, cost, delivery, and service

6. Ensure compliance with company standards and regulations

7. Support cost reduction initiatives through vendor development

8. Pricing and negotiating with suppliers

9. Collaborate with sourcing team for competitive procurement

10. Work with QA/QC teams to resolve supplier quality issues

11. Drive continuous improvement initiatives at supplier end

12. Ensure adherence to quality standards and certifications

13. Build and maintain strong vendor relationships 

14. Act as a point of contact for supplier issues and escalations

15. Conduct regular vendor performance reviews

16. Ensure multiple sourcing for critical materials

17. Collaborate with production, logistics, and quality teams

18. Support new product development with supplier inputs

19. Ensure timely delivery aligned with production schedules

Key Skills & Competencies

1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Supply Chain / Business Administration

2. 5–8 years of experience in procurement/vendor development

3. Salary will be provided as per norms.
