Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspection & Quality Control
- Perform in-process, final, and incoming material inspections.
- Verify dimensions, alignment, and assembly using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools.
- Conduct visual inspections for surface finish, defects, and overall product quality.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain inspection records, reports, and quality logs.
- Document non-conformities and report to the Quality Manager for corrective actions.
- Support preparation of PPAP, FMEA, and other quality documentation.
- Compliance & Standards
- Ensure adherence to company quality standards and customer specifications.
- Participate in audits and support root cause analysis for defects.
- Continuous Improvement
- Suggest improvements to reduce defects and improve product quality.
- Assist in implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Work Environment:
- Shop-floor and production area exposure.
- Shift-based work schedule may be required.
- Use of PPE and adherence to safety protocols.
