Job Summary
The Sales Executive is responsible for assisting customers, understanding their furniture requirements, recommending suitable products, and achieving sales targets. The role involves providing excellent customer service, maintaining showroom standards, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Customer ServiceGreet and assist walk-in customers professionally.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable furniture products.
- Explain product features, specifications, materials, and pricing.
- Generate quotations and follow up on customer inquiries.
- Convert inquiries into sales and achieve monthly sales targets.
- Upsell and cross-sell complementary products.
- Showroom ManagementEnsure furniture displays are neat, attractive, and properly arranged.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards in the showroom.
- Ensure product tags, pricing, and promotional materials are updated.
- Customer Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Follow up with prospective customers through calls, WhatsApp, and email.
- Address customer concerns and coordinate with relevant departments for resolution.
- Collect customer feedback to improve service quality.
- Sales AdministrationPrepare sales orders and maintain accurate records.
- Update customer information in the CRM/software.
- Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams regarding product availability and delivery schedules.
- Assist in stock verification when required.
- Market AwarenessStay updated on furniture trends, materials, and competitor offerings.
- Participate in sales promotions and showroom events.
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Monthly sales achievement.
- Conversion rate of walk-in customers.
- Customer satisfaction scores.
- Number of follow-ups conducted.
- Average bill value.
- Repeat customer business.
- QualificationsHigher Secondary / Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
- Prior experience in retail sales is preferred.
- Experience in furniture, home décor, interiors, or retail sales will be an added advantage.
Required Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Sales and negotiation skills.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, billing software, CRM).
- Ability to work in a target-oriented environment.
- Good presentation and grooming standards.
