Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented System Administrator to manage, maintain, and support our organization’s IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth operation of servers, networks, and systems while maintaining high levels of security, performance, and availability.
- Key Responsibilities:Install, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems, and applications
- Monitor system performance and ensure availability and reliability of IT infrastructure
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
- Maintain and support LAN/WAN networks, firewalls, and security systems
- Ensure data security, integrity, and disaster recovery planning
- Document system configurations, procedures, and policies
- Collaborate with IT teams and support staff for system improvements
- Respond to technical support requests and resolve issues promptly
- Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux operating systems
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
- Experience with networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
