Job Description
A telecaller initiates and receives telephone calls to promote products, generate sales leads, or provide customer support. They act as the voice of a company, driving revenue and handling inquiries for businesses across industries like telecommunications, real estate, and banking in the Chennai area. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6]
Key Responsibilities
- Outbound & Inbound Calls: Contact prospective or existing customers to present offerings using pre-defined scripts, and address incoming inquiries or complaints.
- Lead Generation: Identify customer needs, qualify leads, and set up appointments or transfer interested prospects to the closing sales team. [1, 2, 3, 4]
- Data Management: Accurately document call outcomes and customer feedback directly into CRM software. [1, 2]
- Target Achievement: Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly quotas for call volume, lead generation, or sales conversions. [1]
