Job Description
A telecollection job involves making outbound calls to customers with outstanding debts to negotiate payment plans, resolve queries, and meet monthly recovery targets. Key duties include documenting call details, tracing customers, and following ethical, legal guidelines. It is often a fast-paced, target-driven role requiring strong negotiation and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Outbound Calling: Perform high-volume outbound calls to customers with overdue accounts.
- Negotiation: Discuss payment options, persuade customers to pay, and arrange repayment schedules.
- Documentation: Accurately update customer information, payment commitments, and call notes in the (CRM) system.
- Target Achievement: Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly collection targets.
- Reporting: Maintain and submit daily collection reports and records.
- Customer Counseling: Advise customers on debt settlement and resolve queries regarding their accounts.
Requirements
- Languages: Proficient in English and local languages (e.g., Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam in South India).
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal negotiation, persuasion, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience: 0–3 years of experience in telecalling or debt recovery.
