Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accounts Assistant to support the day-to-day accounting and financial operations of the company. The ideal candidate should have basic accounting knowledge, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle financial records accurately and confidentially.
- Enter and maintain accounting data in Tally.
- Prepare and process sales invoices, purchase invoices, credit notes, and debit notes.
- Maintain accounts receivable and accounts payable records.
- Follow up with customers for outstanding payments.
- Reconcile bank statements, customer accounts, and vendor accounts.
- Maintain petty cash records and expense statements.
- Process employee reimbursements and support payroll-related activities.
- Verify bills, vouchers, and supporting documents before accounting entries.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual account closing activities.
- Organize and maintain financial files, records, and documentation.
- Prepare MIS reports and account summaries as directed by management
