Accountant

Job Summary

The Accountant will be responsible for handling financial transactions, maintaining accurate books of accounts, ensuring compliance with taxation, and providing financial reports to support the smooth functioning of the dairy business. The role requires attention to detail, knowledge of accounting standards, and experience in managing accounts related to production, procurement, distribution, and sales in the dairy sector.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain day-to-day accounting records, ledgers, and financial statements.

Handle accounts payable and receivable, vendor payments, and customer billing.

Monitor milk procurement costs, feed expenses, transportation, and sales revenue.

Perform bank reconciliations, petty cash management, and journal entries.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial

Provide financial insights for decision-making on production, pricing, and expansion.

Proven experience in accounting, preferably in the dairy/food/agriculture industry.

Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
