Job Title: All-Rounder Indian Chef / Cook

Location: Singapore

Job Summary

We are looking for an energetic, hardworking, and passionate Indian Chef/Cook to join our team. The candidate should be able to prepare a variety of South Indian and North Indian vegetarian dishes, maintain high food quality standards, and support daily kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare and cook South Indian dishes such as dosa, idli, vada, pongal, chapati, poori, and variety rice. 

* ⁠Preferably Dindigul style dishes 

* ⁠Dindugal Dum Briyani 

* Prepare North Indian dishes including curries, gravies, paneer dishes, naan, and tandoori items (if applicable).

* Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality.

* Assist in menu planning and recipe standardization.

* Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards at all times.

* Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management.

* Minimize food wastage and control food costs.

* Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

* Support catering, banquet, and special event requirements when needed.

* Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.

* Follow company SOPs and Singapore food hygiene regulations.

Requirements

* Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in an Indian restaurant or hotel kitchen.

* Knowledge of South Indian and North Indian cuisine.

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

* Positive attitude, team player, and willing to learn.

* Physically fit and able to stand for long hours.

* Basic English communication skills preferred.

* Singapore Food Hygiene Certificate is an advantage.
