ASSISTANT MANAGER - MIS AND ANALYTICS
Core Responsibilities
- Overseeing the operations and functionality of the MIS, including managing and maintaining systems.
- Developing and generating regular reports, analysing data to identify trends and insights, and providing data-driven recommendations.
- Working with IT teams to implement system improvements, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating on cross-functional projects.
- Identifying and recommending improvements to business processes based on data analysis
- Drive process automation initiatives in the process to enable efficiency.
- Developing strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the information system.
- Ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Developing and implementing reporting processes to track progress against goals and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Creating documentation and user guides for system processes and functionalities.
- Design and implement technology best practices across the industry.
- Must be able to perform duties with moderate to low supervision.
- Maintain timeline and accuracy of reports churned out.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in database management (SQL, Oracle, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of data analysis and business intelligence tools (e.g., MS Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
- Understanding of programming languages like Python or R (especially for advanced analytics).
- Knowledge of networking and IT infrastructure.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools, database management, and reporting software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI).
Other important Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present findings to stakeholders and collaborate with teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret data, identify trends, and develop solutions.
- Understanding of business processes and the ability to translate data insights into actionable strategies.
- Ensuring accuracy and integrity of data is crucial in this role.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- A Bachelor's/Master’s degree in information systems, computer science, or a related field is typically required.
- 1 to 3 years’ experience in MIS Management in BFSI/NBFC sector or any other industry.
