Job Description
As an Audit Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional audit services to a diverse portfolio of clients. You will work closely with senior members of the firm, assisting with audits, preparing financial statements, and providing valuable insights to improve clients' financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and executing audits in accordance with auditing standards and regulations.
- Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP, etc.).
- Review and analyze client financial information, identifying key risks and providing solutions..
- Monitor and ensure the accurate execution of audit programs.
- Perform substantive and analytical procedures to identify discrepancies.
- Prepare detailed reports and deliverables for clients, including audit findings and recommendations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest accounting and auditing standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff (for Audit Manager) and provide guidance on audit procedures and client interaction.
