Summary:
As a Business Architect, a typical day involves evaluating existing business processes to uncover opportunities that can enhance value for the organization. This role requires gathering and analyzing high-level requirements from various stakeholders and designing effective business solutions that align with strategic goals. The Business Architect plays a crucial role in bridging business needs with technology capabilities, ensuring that transformation initiatives are well-supported through comprehensive business cases and guidance during implementation. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and continuous assessment of operating models are integral parts of the daily workflow, aimed at driving meaningful change and operational excellence.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Analyze and understand business requirements within Oracle RMS context
-Prepare detailed test scenarios covering RMS functional areas like merchandising, pricing, inventory & replenishment
-Author test scripts with step-by-step instructions, expected results and RMS data setup conditions
-Map test scenarios to business requirements for full traceability
-Review and validate test scripts with business stakeholders before execution
-Test case execution & defect management

-Execute functional and regression test cases across RMS modules
-Log, track and triage defects with clear reproduction steps
-Coordinate with development teams on defect resolution and retest cycles
-Perform end-to-end scenario validation covering RMS-to-downstream integrations
-Prepare test execution metrics — test cases planned vs executed, pass/fail rates, defect density
-Track and report defect aging, severity distribution and open/closed trends
-Maintain test coverage traceability matrix and sign-off documentation

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS).
- Experience in analyzing and translating business requirements into technology-enabled solutions.
- Strong skills in business process modeling and documentation.
- Ability to develop business cases and support strategic decision-making.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Familiarity with retail industry operations and merchandising concepts.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS).
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
