CAD Designer - Structural Drafting and Reinforcement Detailing

Cad Designer

1) Preparation of RCC 2D Drawings & Rebar Detailing-  Prepare General Arrangement (GAD), 2D numeration, and detailed reinforcement drawings for concrete structures in AutoCAD (A0/A1 size), in compliance with EDRC HCIC standards, client specifications, and Engineer’s design inputs.

2) Drafting Standards & Compliance - Ensure adherence to drawing standards including title blocks, revision history, layers, scales, Fonts, Symbols, Abbreviations, sheet size selection, and inclusion of engineering & construction reference drawings.

3) Documentation & Drawing Control Management- Maintain updated drawing registers, Reference drawing lists, Revision tracking, check prints, and ensure proper organization, storage of the drawings in the respective folder paths.  

4) Efficiency & Drafting Optimization- Develop and maintain AutoCAD blocks for repetitive elements, incorporate True North in GADs, and interface effectively with design software to enhance drafting efficiency and consistency`

5) Design Coordination & Technical Clarifications - Collaborate with Design Engineers, BIM teams, Geotech & Inter-departmental teams (MEP, etc.) to understand design inputs & perform interference checks.
