Civil Engineer

Key responsibilities:

1. Client Advisory & Project Planning

> Requirement Gathering: Meet with prospective clients to understand their vision, budget, and functional needs for new constructions or remodeling projects.

> Technical Consulting: Act as the technical face of the company, explaining complex engineering concepts, timelines, and material choices to non-technical clients.

> Feasibility Analysis: Evaluate old infrastructures for remodeling, identifying structural strengths and weaknesses to provide honest "plus and minus" assessments.

2. Digital Design & Engineering

> Drafting & Modeling: Create detailed 2D/3D structural designs and architectural layouts using software like AutoCAD, Revit, or STAAD.Pro.

> Design Optimization: Review designs to ensure they are cost-effective, sustainable, and compliant with local building codes and safety regulations.

> Technical Documentation: Prepare detailed Blueprints, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), and material specifications for procurement.

3. On-Site Execution & Management

> Site Supervision: Manage day-to-day field operations to ensure work aligns perfectly with the approved digital designs and quality standards.

> Vendor & Labour Coordination: Oversee contractors and on-site labour, ensuring safety protocols are followed and project milestones are met.

> Problem Solving: Address real-time technical hurdles on-site, especially during the "surprises" that often come with remodeling old structures.

4. Business & Project Development

> Estimation & Budgeting: Calculate accurate project costs to assist the property promotion team in pricing and marketing.

> Progress Reporting: Maintain detailed logs of site progress and provide regular updates to both the management and the clients.

> Commercial Value Enhancement: Suggest design improvements and structural features that specifically increase the market value and "salability" of the property for the promotion team.
