Civil Site Engineer

Civil Site Engineer manages daily construction operations, bridging design plans with on-site execution to ensure projects are built safely, on time, and within budget. They are responsible for technical supervision, quality control, setting out sites using surveying equipment, and coordinating labor and materials for structures like buildings and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Supervision & Management: Overseeing day-to-day operations and supervising contractors or laborers.
• Technical Implementation: Interpreting structural drawings and blueprints to guide site activities.
• Quality & Safety Control: Ensuring materials meet standards and enforcing safety regulations.
• Site Surveying: Using tools like Total Stations or GPS/GNSS for layout marking.
• Progress Monitoring & Reporting: Maintaining project schedules and reporting progress to Project Managers.
• Problem Solving: Resolving technical issues or design discrepancies on site.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Education: A degree or diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in structural drawings, survey techniques, and material estimation.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD and sometimes Microsoft Project/Excel.
• Soft Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities to handle high-pressure environment
