Job Description
A CNC Operator (Computer Numerical Control) manages automated machinery to produce precise parts and tools from metal, plastic, or other materials. Key responsibilities include interpreting blueprints, setting up tools, loading raw materials, monitoring operations, conducting quality inspections, and performing maintenance to ensure production meets specifications. - Machine Setup: Calibrate machines, load programs, and set up tools/raw materials according to blueprints and instructions.
- Operation & Monitoring: Oversee machinery during production, adjusting settings as needed to optimize performance.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished products using precision tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) to verify compliance with specifications.
- Maintenance & Safety: Perform routine maintenance (cleaning, lubrication) and adhere to safety standards (e.g., 5S system) to ensure a clean, safe workspace.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve machine errors, tool wear, or programming issues.
