Job Description

Job Title: Commi I / II / III – Italian Cuisine


Company: Toscano


Role Overview:

Support kitchen operations in preparing authentic Italian dishes while maintaining quality, hygiene, and efficiency. Responsibilities vary by level, from basic prep (Commi III) to section handling and supervision (Commi I).


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparation and cooking of Italian dishes (pasta, sauces, pizzas, antipasti)
  • Follow recipes, portion control, and presentation standards
  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety practices
  • Manage assigned kitchen section (for senior levels)
  • Support inventory control and proper storage
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team; senior commis guide junior staff


Requirements:

  • Basic to strong knowledge of Italian cuisine (based on level)
  • 0–5 years of kitchen experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with willingness to learn and grow
