Location: Chennai/Pune

We are looking for CAD Developer with 5 to 7 years of experience in CAD customization, configuration, development, and solution mapping.

As a CAD Developer, your responsibility includes active role in performing development tasks, discussing with concept owners/process owners and PLM team to understand the business requirements, and participation to Konecranes agile practices. You would be working together with architects, concept owners and business stakeholders.

 

Your key responsibilities:

• Design, implement and customize CAD tools to meet business needs.
• Integrate CAD tools with Teamcenter PLM System.
• Coordinating with business to understand their requirements and offering technical solutions to achieve them and assess CAD development efforts.
• Translating business needs into IT system requirements, assisting in process development by providing insights on solutions and system development, including testing and exploring configuration options.
• Flexible to work on any CAD Platform.
• Documenting the solution and providing knowledge transfer to Support team.
• Collaborate and work with key stakeholders.
• Should have a fast-learning curve to adept new technologies.
• Exhibit Konecranes Core values and code of conduct into each action.
• Awareness of ISO 14001 and 45001 standards

Qualifications

What should you bring?                   

• a Bachelors’ degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experienced in Oops concept
• Experience in developing and customizing CAD tools, as well as working with CAD systems like NX, SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD, or Vertex.
• Experience in integrating and customizing CAD tools with the Teamcenter PLM System, including tasks such as attribute mapping and structure creation.
• Experienced in customizing for all application disciplines (Modelling, Assembly, Drafting and Routing)
• Strong understanding of assembly, product structure and topology
• Good knowledge in Geometrical and Mathematical Approach and its concepts
• Experienced in GUI / WPF and Block UI Styler
• Strong working background in C++ and C# .NET programming
• Knowledge of Atlassian tools (Jira, bitbucket, etc.) are an added advantage.
• Good communication ab self-organizing skills to work independently on given tasks.
• You have an agile mindset and experience in agile working is an added advantage.
• You have good Analytic and problem-solving techniques with innovative ideas to bring process improvements.
