ROLE SUMMARY

The Credit Processing Manager – Unsecured Loans is responsible for evaluating, approving, and monitoring unsecured loan applications while ensuring portfolio quality, risk control, regulatory compliance, and achievement of business objectives. The role involves developing credit policies, managing underwriting, analyzing credit risk trends, and maintaining a healthy loan portfolio also ensure on audit compliance

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Operations & Transactional 

  • Review and approve unsecured loan applications in line with credit policy and delegated authority. 
  • Analyze customer creditworthiness using income documents, bureau reports, bank statements, and alternative data sources. 
  • Evaluate risk parameters such as repayment capacity, indebtedness, credit history, and fraud indicators. 
  • Recommend approvals, declines, or policy exceptions with adequate justification

Process Improvement


  • Develop and implement credit policies, underwriting guidelines, and risk controls. 
  • Review existing processes and recommend enhancements to improve decision quality and efficiency. 
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and audit standards.
  • Monitor portfolio performance, delinquency trends, and vintage analysis.
  • Track key metrics including approval rates, rejection rates, delinquencies, loss rates, and portfolio profitability
