Summary:
As a Database Administrator, you will engage in the design, implementation, and maintenance of databases. Your typical day will involve installing database management systems, developing procedures for daily maintenance, and resolving any issues that arise. You will work collaboratively with team members to ensure optimal database performance and reliability, while also contributing to the overall data strategy of the organization. Your role will require a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards of data integrity and security.

- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Monitor database performance and implement necessary optimizations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-related projects.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- Strong understanding of database management systems and their architecture.
- Experience with SQL and data querying techniques.
- Familiarity with data backup and recovery procedures.
- Knowledge of performance tuning and optimization strategies.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- This position is based at our Coimbatore office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
