The Role

As a Electrical Designer Level II (Protection & Control – Switchyard) with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.

• Prepare detailed Protection & Control design drawings for AIS/GIS substations and switchyards up to 400/765 kV.
• Develop:
  • Protection Single Line Diagrams
  • AC/DC Schematics
  • Control Logic Diagrams
  • Relay Panel GA Drawings
  • Control Wiring Diagrams
  • Marshalling Kiosk Drawings
  • Interconnection Diagrams
  • Cable Schedules
  • Terminal Plans
  • BOM / MTO Design communication architecture for station bus and process bus systems.

• Coordinate gateway, RTU, HMI, and control center interfaces.

   

About You

To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:

• Knowledge of communication protocols such as IEC 61850, Modbus, DNP3, IEC 60870-5-104, etc.
• 8 to 15 years of relevant experience in Protection & Control design for switchyards / substations / power plants.
• Experience in EPC / consulting / utility projects preferred.
• Experience with international projects and standards is an advantage.
