Job Summary:The Extruder Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining extrusion machines used in the production of PVC doors, PVC profiles, and roofing sheets. The role involves ensuring smooth production operations, maintaining product quality standards, minimizing wastage, and ensuring machine efficiency and workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate PVC extrusion machines for manufacturing PVC doors, profiles, and roofing sheets.
• Set machine parameters such as temperature, pressure, speed, and material feed as per production requirements.
• Ensure continuous production with minimum downtime.
• Monitor product quality, dimensions, thickness, finish, and overall appearance.
• Perform machine setup, die changing, calibration, and adjustments when required.
• Identify and troubleshoot minor machine and process issues.
• Conduct routine cleaning and preventive maintenance of extrusion equipment.
• Maintain production logs, shift reports, and material usage records.
• Coordinate with maintenance and quality control teams for smooth operations.
• Minimize raw material wastage and optimize machine productivity.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of raw materials and finished goods.
• Follow company safety procedures and maintain housekeeping standards in the production area.

• Required Qualifications:
• ITI / Diploma / Technical qualification preferred.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in extrusion machine operations.
• Experience in PVC door, profile, or roofing sheet manufacturing preferred.
• Knowledge of extrusion production processes and machine settings.
• Ability to work independently and in shifts.

Technical Skills:Knowledge of PVC compounds, additives, and extrusion processes.

• Familiarity with extrusion dies, cooling systems, calibrators, cutters, and sheet/profile finishing.
• Understanding of product quality standards and measurements.
• Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to monitor machine performance and process parameters.
