Field Collection Executive - Bank Loan Collection

Job Title: Field Executive – Loan Recovery

Job Summary:

The Field Executive is responsible for visiting customers who have overdue loan payments and ensuring timely recovery of dues. The role involves direct interaction with borrowers, negotiation, and maintaining proper documentation of recovery activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Visit customers/borrowers at their residence or workplace to follow up on overdue loan payments

Explain repayment schedules, penalties, and consequences of non-payment

Negotiate with customers to arrange repayment plans

Collect payments (cash/cheque/digital) as per company guidelines

Maintain accurate records of visits, discussions, and collections

Update daily reports to the supervisor/collection manager

Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally

Ensure compliance with bank policies and legal regulations

Skip tracing (locating customers who have moved or are unresponsive)

Required Skills:

Good communication and negotiation skills

Basic knowledge of banking/loan products

Ability to handle difficult conversations and conflicts

Strong fieldwork and time management skills

Honest, reliable, and result-oriented

Basic mobile/app usage for reporting

Qualifications:

Minimum: 12th / Any Degree

Prior experience in collection/recovery/field sales is preferred but not mandatory

Valid driving license and two-wheeler (preferred)

Working Conditions:

Field-based job with extensive travel

Flexible working hours depending on recovery targets

May involve handling sensitive or high-pressure situations
