Job Description
Job Title: Field Sales Executive
Department: Sales & Business Development
Location: Chennai & Banglore
Employment Type: Full-Time
About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Field Sales Executive to promote and sell our SaaS (Software as a Service) solutions to businesses. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating leads, meeting prospective clients, conducting product demonstrations, and closing sales while building long-term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new business opportunities through field visits, networking, referrals, and cold calling.
- Meet business owners, HR managers, operations heads, and decision-makers to understand their requirements.
- Present and demonstrate SaaS products effectively to potential customers.
- Explain product features, benefits, pricing, and implementation processes.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals successfully.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and opportunities in CRM software.
- Coordinate with the implementation and support teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
- Attend trade shows, business events, and networking opportunities to generate leads.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- 1–5 years of experience in field sales, B2B sales, or SaaS sales.
- Freshers with excellent communication and sales skills may also apply.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build rapport with clients and understand business needs.
- Self-motivated with a target-driven approach.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
Preferred Skills
- Experience selling HRMS, Payroll, Attendance Management, CRM, ERP, or other SaaS solutions.
- Knowledge of subscription-based sales models.
- Strong lead generation and prospecting abilities.
- Ability to conduct product demos and handle objections effectively.
