Job Description – Field Service Technician
Position: Field Service Technician
Location: Chennai
Experience: 0–3 Years
Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or related field
Job Summary
We are looking for a Field Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment at customer locations.
The candidate should be willing to travel and provide prompt technical support while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Roles & Responsibilities
Install, test, and commission equipment at customer sites.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
- Attend service calls and resolve customer complaints efficiently.
- Conduct routine inspections and ensure proper functioning of equipment.
- Prepare service reports and maintain maintenance records.
- Coordinate with customers and internal teams regarding service requirements.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned service tasks.
- Follow safety procedures and company standards during field operations.
- Provide technical support and basic user training to customers.
