Role: Floor Manager / Operations Supervisor

Work Timing: 2:30 AM to 10:30 AM

Shift: Early morning / night shift

Working Hours: 6–8 hours per day, based on operational requirement

Location: Kitchen / Food Production Unit

Role Summary

We are looking for a responsible Floor Manager / Operations Supervisor to manage early morning kitchen operations. The person will supervise the kitchen team, cutting team, packing team, and delivery coordination to ensure all food preparation, packing, hygiene, and dispatch activities happen on time and without confusion.

This role requires someone who can work with ground-level staff, manage people politely but firmly, maintain discipline, and ensure delivery timelines are met every day.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise daily morning operations from 2:30 AM to 10:30 AM.

Coordinate with the kitchen team, cutting team, packing team, and delivery team.

Ensure all food preparation and packing activities happen as per plan.

Make sure delivery items are ready on time for dispatch.

Track timing and avoid delays in kitchen and delivery operations.

Ensure hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards are followed.

Check that all teams are following instructions properly.

Manage staff attendance, discipline, and task allocation during the shift.

Communicate clearly with team members who may speak Tamil, Hindi, or basic English.

Handle issues on the floor and escalate important matters to management.

Ensure the kitchen is properly wound up before shift completion.

Maintain basic daily reports or updates as required.

Required Skills

Good supervision and people management skills.

Ability to work during early morning/night shift.

Should be able to manage uneducated or semi-skilled workers patiently.

Basic English knowledge or willingness to learn English.

Ability to communicate with Hindi-speaking workers.

Strong sense of timing, discipline, and responsibility.

Should be strict on hygiene, cleanliness, and process discipline.

Able to handle pressure during peak dispatch hours.

Should be practical, alert, and hands-on.

Preferred Experience

Experience in kitchen operations, food production, hotel, catering, cloud kitchen, warehouse, factory floor, or delivery coordination.

Prior experience as a supervisor, floor in-charge, shift in-charge, or operations coordinator will be preferred.

Food industry experience is an added advantage.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be reliable, punctual, active, and capable of managing people on the floor. He should not only give instructions but also follow up and ensure the work is completed properly. He should be comfortable working with different types of workers and should be ready to take ownership of the morning operations.
