Job Description

Job Summary:

The Front Office Executive is responsible for delivering excellent guest service by handling check-ins, check-outs, reservations, guest inquiries, and ensuring a smooth front office operation while maintaining the hotel's service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests warmly and provide a professional first impression.
  • Handle guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
  • Manage room reservations, cancellations, and modifications.
  • Answer telephone calls and respond to guest inquiries promptly.
  • Provide accurate information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, and F&B departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Handle guest complaints professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate guest records and update the Property Management System (PMS).
  • Process guest payments, prepare bills, and ensure cash handling accuracy.
  • Maintain the front desk area in a clean and organized manner.
  • Assist with VIP arrivals, group check-ins, and special guest requests.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, SOPs, and safety procedures.
  • Prepare daily reports and maintain shift handover records.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Hotel Management or Hospitality.
  • 1–3 years of experience in Front Office operations (Freshers with relevant qualifications may also apply).
  • Good communication skills in English and the local language.
  • Basic computer knowledge (MS Office).
  • Skills Required:Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional grooming and presentation.
  • Strong communication and telephone etiquette.
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Multitasking and time management.
  • Teamwork and coordination.
