Heavy Vehicle Driver

Job Summary:

Responsible for safely operating a water tanker/truck to transport and deliver water to designated locations (construction sites, plants, commercial/residential areas) while ensuring timely service, vehicle maintenance, and compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive and operate water tanker/truck for water delivery.
• Ensure timely delivery as per assigned schedule/routes.
• Fill, transport, and unload water safely without spillage.
• Perform daily vehicle inspection (fuel, brakes, tires, water pump, etc.).
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicle.
• Follow traffic rules and company safety guidelines strictly.
• Maintain delivery logs, trip sheets, and fuel records.
• Coordinate with dispatch/operations team for delivery planning.
• Handle basic troubleshooting of pump/motor during delivery.
• Report any vehicle issues, delays, or accidents immediately.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Minimum qualification: 10th / 12th pass.
• Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License (HMV).
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience driving water tanker/trucks.
• Good knowledge of local routes and traffic conditions.
• Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance.
