Role Summary

A Housekeeping Boy ensures that assigned areas are clean, organized, and well-maintained to provide a safe and comfortable environment for guests, staff, or residents.

• Key Responsibilities

🧼 Cleaning & Maintenance

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
• Dust furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
• Clean bathrooms, toilets, and sinks
• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly
• Refill supplies like soap, tissue, and toiletries

Room Upkeep (Hotels / Guest Houses)

• Make beds and change linens
• Clean mirrors, windows, and glass surfaces
• Arrange room items neatly
• Check for damages or maintenance issues

Hygiene & Safety

• Follow cleanliness and sanitation standards
• Use cleaning chemicals safely
• Maintain personal hygiene and uniform

Support Duties

• Assist in moving items or furniture when required
• Report lost and found items
• Help with laundry or linen management

Skills & Requirements

• Basic knowledge of cleaning methods and tools
• Physical stamina and ability to work long hours
• Attention to detail
• Time management skills
• Good behavior and honesty

Working Conditions

May work in shifts (morning, evening, or night)
