Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and organized HR Executive to manage end-to-end HR operations for our restaurant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, attendance, payroll coordination, statutory compliance, and maintaining employee records. Prior experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry is preferred due to the fast-paced nature of the business.
- Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & StaffingSource candidates through job portals, social media, and recruitment agencies.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews.
- Coordinate interviews with restaurant managers.
- Ensure timely hiring for Front Office, Service, Kitchen, Stewarding, and Management roles.
- Onboarding & DocumentationComplete joining formalities and employee documentation.
- Prepare offer letters, appointment letters, and employment contracts.
- Maintain employee files and HR records.
- Conduct induction and orientation for new employees.
- Attendance & PayrollMaintain attendance, leave records, and shift details.
- Coordinate monthly payroll with the finance team.
- Verify overtime, incentives, service charges, and attendance reports.
- Employee RelationsAddress employee concerns and grievances.
- Organize employee engagement activities and celebrations.
- Support disciplinary actions and exit formalities.
- Conduct exit interviews and maintain attrition records.
- Training & DevelopmentCoordinate induction and operational training.
- Track mandatory training and skill development.
- Support performance appraisal processes.
- ComplianceEnsure compliance with labour laws and company HR policies.
- Maintain statutory records and employee documentation.
- Support audits and inspections when required.
- HR AdministrationUpdate employee databases and HRMIS.
- Prepare weekly and monthly HR reports.
- Maintain confidential employee information.
- Support management with HR analytics and manpower planning.
- Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- MBA/PGDM in HR is preferred.
- 1–3 years of HR experience, preferably in the restaurant, hotel, or hospitality industry.
- Required SkillsStrong recruitment and interviewing skills.
- Knowledge of labour laws and HR compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and HR software.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Preferred ExperienceExperience hiring for restaurant roles such as Team Members, Captains, Stewards, Chefs, Kitchen Helpers, and Restaurant Managers.
- Knowledge of payroll processing, attendance systems, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Time-to-fill open positions.

Salary Range₹20,000 – ₹35,000 per month (depending on experience and location)
