Job Title: NOC Engineer

Job Description: • Monitor network infrastructure including routers, switches, servers, and firewalls using monitoring tools • Ensure network availability, performance, and stability through proactive monitoring • Track performance metrics such as latency, packet loss, and bandwidth utilization • Detect, analyze, and respond to network incidents and service disruptions • Perform L1 troubleshooting for connectivity, routing, DNS, and server issues • Escalate complex issues to senior engineers or relevant teams • Manage alerts and events, resolve network alarms and service degradation • Create and track incidents using ITSM tools , ensuring SLA compliance • Assist in network maintenance , patching, upgrades, and health checks • Support change management and maintain configuration documentation • Monitor for security threats and unusual network activity • Maintain network documentation, reports, and RCA for major incidents • Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and service providers during incidents Required Skills: • Strong knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, switching) • Experience with network monitoring tools and ITSM systems • Good troubleshooting and incident management skills • Understanding of network security fundamentals • Strong analytical and communication skills Responsibilities & Expectations: • Ensure high availability and performance of network services • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting • Provide timely communication during incidents • Ability to work in shift-based/24x7 environments
