Job Opening: Junior Accountant

Experience: 1 to 3 Years

Working Days: 6 Days a Week

Weekly Off: Sunday (Fixed)

Location: Chintadripet, Chennai

Job Title: Junior Accountant

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions and financial records.
• Record and manage purchase, sales, receipts, and payment entries in Tally.
• Prepare and maintain books of accounts accurately.
• Handle bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and MIS reports.
• Maintain records of invoices, vouchers, and supporting documents.
• Coordinate with internal departments for accounting-related requirements.
• Ensure timely updating of accounting records and documentation.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles.
• Tally ERP/Tally Prime is Mandatory.
• Good understanding of bookkeeping and financial record maintenance.
• Knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in accounting entries.
• Preferred SkillsWorking knowledge of GST compliance and return filing.
• Knowledge of TDS calculations, deductions, and related documentation.
• Experience in handling statutory accounting requirements.
• Candidate RequirementsB.Com / M.Com / BBA (Finance) or related qualification.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in Accounting and Finance.
• Proficiency in Tally is mandatory.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Immediate joiners will be preferred.
