Junior Accountant / Payroll & Compliance Executive

Job Objective:

We are looking for a dedicated Junior Accountant to manage our day-to-day accounts, factory payroll data entry, and statutory records. The ideal candidate will be responsible for precise Tally entry and will act as an internal coordinator between our management, external consultants, and our Chartered Accountant (CA) office to ensure smooth financial and compliance operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tally Data Entry: Accurately record daily accounting transactions, bank reconciliations, sales/purchase invoices, and cash management in Tally Prime.
• Payroll & Attendance Management: Process monthly factory payroll entries, tracking employee attendance, overtime, and salary components.
• Statutory Compliance Coordination:
• Compile, organize, and check data required for GST, ESI, PF, and TDS filings.
• Coordinate actively with external consultants and our CA office to submit monthly data on time.
• Documentation & Filing: Maintain precise physical and digital filing systems for bills, tax documents, credit/debit notes, and past employee records.
• General Administration: Handle day-to-day office paperwork and provide financial data updates to management when required.

Candidate Requirements:

• Education: B.Com, M.Com, BBA (Finance), or equivalent accounting degree.
• Software Skills: Hands-on working knowledge of Tally (Tally Prime) and strong basic skills in MS Excel (spreadsheets, basic formulas).
• Core Knowledge: Fundamental understanding of accounting principles (Debits/Credits) and an awareness of Indian tax structures (GST, TDS, PF, ESI).
• Communication: Ability to communicate clearly with senior management, external consultants, and bank executives.

Geographic Preference:

Candidates residing within 5 km of Maraimalai Nagar (e.g., Kattankulathur, Potheri, Singaperumal Koil, Guduvanchery) are highly preferred.
