Manufacturing Costing and Inventory Control Analyst

Job Scope:

To ensure accurate manufacturing costing, effective inventory control, variance analysis, and financial compliance by coordinating with business, production, and support teams. The role is responsible for supporting Manufacturing Controller for monthly closing, budgeting, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Attributes

• Knowledge of SAP (FICO- modules preferred)
• Understanding of manufacturing costing (cost accounting) and inventory processes
• Perform inventory control activities including regular stock verification.
• Analyze inventory, track inventory metrics & generate performance reports (slow-moving, non-moving, scrap, and blocked stock to support effective working capital management.)
• Open PO analysis report, Cost Spent MIS Report
• Support quarterly and annual audit schedule preparation by providing required data and reports
• Perform weekly verification of Plan vs Actual material consumption and ensure materials are posted as per the production plan in production orders.

Skills & Competencies Required

• Batchelor degree in business administration or finance or economics.
• Analytical skills with strong attention to accuracy
• Proficiency in MS Excel , Power BI and SAP (FICO & MM modules)
• Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams
• Knowledge in budgeting, FCS, and audit support processes
• Exposure to Lean / Kaizen methodologies (preferred)
• On site location – Pillaipakkam – ISU Factory
