Job Description
Role ObjectiveTo assist the chef in food preparation, kitchen operations, and maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in the kitchen.
- Key Responsibilities1. Food Preparation SupportAssist the chef in cutting, cleaning, marinating, and prepping ingredients
- Help in preparing breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks as per instructions
- Ensure timely preparation during service hours
- 2. Kitchen OperationsMaintain cleanliness of kitchen counters, utensils, and storage areas
- Wash and organize vegetables, meats, and groceries properly
- Support in storing food items safely and hygienically
- 3. Hygiene & SafetyFollow kitchen hygiene standards strictly
- Keep work area clean and organized at all times
- Handle food items carefully to avoid wastage
- 4. Stock HandlingHelp in receiving and checking grocery supplies
- Assist in stock arrangement and basic inventory tracking
- 5. Team SupportWork closely with the chef and other staff
- Be available during peak hours and busy days
- Take responsibility and follow instructions properly
- Skills RequiredBasic knowledge of kitchen work and food preparation
- Ability to work fast and follow instructions
- Clean and hygienic work habits
- Physically fit and active
- Team player with a positive attitude
