Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Sample Management: Collect, receive, log, and label all incoming test specimens or raw materials using strict tracking procedures.
- Testing & Analysis: Perform diagnostic, qualitative, or quantitative testing by following defined standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Equipment Calibration: Set up, clean, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments such as microscopes, centrifuges, and automated analyzers.
- Data Documentation: Record all analytical test results, experimental data, and observations accurately in both digital databases and physical logs.
- Quality Control: Execute preventative maintenance and continuous quality control protocols to detect, troubleshoot, and correct testing errors or anomalies.
- Inventory Management: Track and restock laboratory reagents, chemicals, consumables, and safety equipment to prevent operational delays.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to hazardous waste disposal protocols, infection control practices, and general occupational safety regulations.
