COMPANY OVERVIEW
We are a commercial printing company established in 1993, operating with offset and digital printing capabilities across two locations in Chennai. We serve B2B corporate clients including pharmaceutical companies, FMCG brands, educational institutions, IT offices, and hotels.
We are on an exciting growth trajectory, scaling from Rs 1.5 Cr to Rs 4+ Cr turnover in the next 9 months.
ROLE OVERVIEW
As B2B Sales Executive, you are responsible for acquiring new B2B clients, building sustainable relationships, and driving monthly revenue targets of Rs 20-35 Lakhs. You will serve as the first dedicated sales professional in the company, reporting directly to the Managing Director.
This is strategic, relationship-based B2B selling where you build long-term partnerships with corporate buyers.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. New Client Acquisition: Identify and approach 80-100 B2B prospects from target industries (pharma, FMCG, IT offices, hotels, education). Conduct sales meetings, deliver pitches, prepare quotations, and close deals.
2. Pipeline & Revenue Management: Maintain live pipeline of Rs 1.5-2 Crore. Achieve monthly targets (Rs 20-25L Sep-Dec, Rs 28-35L Jan-Mar). Track metrics weekly. Meet annual target of Rs 2.5 Crore in new revenue.
3. Client Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with decision-makers. Understand specifications and expectations. Identify upsell opportunities. Maintain 80%+ client retention.
4. Market Intelligence: Stay updated on trends, competitors, pricing. Provide market insights to MD.
5. Operational Support: Coordinate with production on timelines and quality. Use CRM/Excel for tracking. Support order coordination.
6. Field Activities: Regular client visits across Chennai region. Attend trade shows. Build and nurture relationships.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years B2B sales experience in printing, packaging, office supplies, gifting, or advertising
- Proven track record closing deals Rs 5-50 Lakhs
- Existing database of 50+ B2B contacts
Skills:
- Strong English communication and presentation
- Negotiation and closing ability
- Self-motivated, target-driven
- Understanding of print specifications and quality
- MS Excel proficiency
- CRM experience (Zoho, Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus
Attributes:

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base Salary: Rs 20,000 - Rs 28,000/month (based on experience)
Performance Bonus: 10% on exceeding target

TARGETS & KPIs
Months 1-2: Rs 15-18L in new orders
Months 3-6: Rs 20-35L per month
Months 7-9: Rs 28-35L per month

LOCATION & REPORTING
Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu (Office-based with field travel)
Reports to: Managing Director
Weekly: Pipeline review and deal closure report
Monthly: Full P&L review and market insights
