Mechanical Designer - Brake Systems

What you can look forward to as Mechanical Designer-Brakes(m/f/d):
1.    Lead design and development of brake system products (HBV, FBV, Relay Valve, ALSV, TCV, RAVP, ABS,EBS,ESC and mBSP system devices etc.).
2.    Perform Engineering design calculations to ensure robust product design 
3.    Drive Innovation and create detailed 3D CAD models, drawings, tolerance stacks, and engineering specifications.
4.    Conduct DFMEA, DVP&R, design reviews, and own technical deliverables including Quality, Cost Delivery from concept to launch
5.    Work closely with global engineering teams across regions and ensure designs meet performance, durability, safety, NVH, and regulatory requirements.
6.    Lead technical problem solving, root cause analysis, and contribute to Design to Cost (DtC) and Productivity 

Your profile as Mechanical Designer-Brakes(m/f/d):

1.    3–5 years of experience in product design and development, preferably in brake systems or related automotive components.
2.    Experience working with OEM or Tier 1 supplier environments is desirable.
3.    Strong understanding of brake system architecture, product fundamentals and component functions.
4.    Expertise in Product Design including DFMEA, Tolerance analysis and GD&T
5.    Knowledge of materials, machining, casting, forging, and other manufacturing processes.
6.    Knowledge in CAE methodologies and ability to interpret simulation results.
7.    Experience with DVP&R and problem-solving tools like DMAIC.
8.    Experience in Product life cycle management tools and change management.
9.    Exposure to advanced braking technologies (ABS, EBS, ESC, ADAS etc.).
