Job Description

Required Skills:

• Proven experience as a WebSphere Administrator with Level 3 support responsibilities.
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD pipelines, configuration management tools).
• Expertise in installation, configuration, tuning, and troubleshooting of WebSphere Application Server in enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of working in both Windows and Linux environments
• Proficiency in scripting languages for automation (Shell scripting, Python, Ansible).
• Knowledge of performance monitoring tools and techniques for WebSphere Application Server.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.

 

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in working on application integration using WAS.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and modern application deployment patterns.
• Understanding of ITIL principles and best practices.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., IBM Certified System Administrator - WebSphere Application Server, Oracle Certified Professional, Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), Microsoft AZURE Cloud certifications) are advantageous.

Total Experience Expected: 08-10 years
