Ocean Contract Management Team Lead

We are looking for an experienced and driven Team Lead – Tender & Contract Management to lead a high-performing team within our Global Service Center (GSC). This role plays a critical part in delivering seamless Quote-to-Contract execution, enabling sales success, and driving customer satisfaction across key markets.
You will act as a bridge between Sales, Product, and Operations, ensuring operational excellence, strong stakeholder alignment, and continuous improvement in contract management processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of ~15 tender and contract management professionals

• Own end-to-end Quote-to-Contract delivery, ensuring accuracy, quality, and adherence to timelines

• Act as the primary point of contact for cross-functional stakeholders including Sales, Product, and Operations

• Drive customer outcomes by improving invoice quality, reducing disputes, and enhancing customer satisfaction (NPS)

• Collaborate with global teams to identify and resolve process gaps and inefficiencies

• Enable sales effectiveness through insights, contract accuracy, and performance tracking

• Champion digital transformation and platform adoption (e.g., automation, new tools, system enhancements)

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, standardization, and scalability

• Ensure strong governance, compliance, and risk mitigation in contract execution

• Support regional and global initiatives, including transformation programs and new product rollouts

Shift - 6PM to 3 AM (Can be rotational basis business needs)

Experience Required

• Minimum 10 years of overall professional experience.

• Minimum 3 years of people management experience - leading and managing a team of approximately 25–30 employees.

• Proven ability to drive team performance, manage stakeholder expectations, and deliver operational objectives in a fast-paced environment.

Who we are looking for

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree from recognized university.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Customer Service, Tender, Sales and Performance Management

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with strong analytical and presentation capabilities.

• Prior experience in team leadership or people management is required  with Strong leadership and people management skills with a focus on coaching and development

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities with a data-driven mindset

• High ownership, accountability, and customer-centric mindset

• Open to working in perpetual night shifts supporting North America business operations.

• Eager to learn, grow, and take on new challenges in a dynamic global environment.
