Oracle HCM Technical Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Workforce Compensation Technical Consultant with 4–7 years of Oracle Fusion HCM experience, specializing in Fast Formulas, Value Sets, and BI Publisher reporting. The consultant will play a key role in designing, configuring, and supporting compensation‑related technical solutions while ensuring scalability, auditability, and Oracle‑supported best practices.
The role requires close collaboration with HR, Compensation SMEs, Product Managers, and Integration teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain Value sets and Fast formulas for Compensation Module - Eligibility determination and compensation calculations.
- Optimize Fast Formula performance and ensure audit‑friendly logic and maintainable.
- Troubleshoot formula compilation and runtime issues and ensure formulas adhere to Oracle supported design pattern
- Develop and maintain BI Publisher reports using BIP,OTBI for compensation Module
- Support and Maintain extracts and data uploads using HDL, spreadsheet for Compensation components
- Provide technical support during Compensation cycles.
- Review Oracle Cloud Readiness reports and assess compensation feature impacts and Perform regression testing during quarterly upgrades where applicable
- Support Redwood transition
Mandatory
- 4–7 years of hands‑on experience in Oracle Fusion HCM
- Strong expertise in:
- Fast Formula (advanced logic)
- Value Sets
- BI Publisher
- Solid knowledge of Workforce Compensation module or one of the following modules - Core HR, Payroll
- Strong SQL skills (for BIP and value sets)
- Experience with DFFs / EFFs
- Understanding of effective dating and HCM data models
Good to Have
- Experience on:
- HCM Extracts
- HDL and Spreadsheet loader
- Compensation Statements and Redwood UI customizations
- Exposure to Global Compensation cycle support
- Knowledge of basic HCM security roles and privilege operating model
- Experience working in Agile or product‑oriented teams
