Job Description
A Pest Control Technician is responsible for inspecting properties, identifying pest infestations, and applying appropriate treatments to eliminate and prevent pests. The role involves working at residential, commercial, and industrial sites while ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.
- Key ResponsibilitiesInspect buildings and surrounding areas to identify pest problems (termites, rodents, insects, etc.)
- Determine the type and level of infestation
- Apply chemical or non-chemical treatments safely and effectively
- Set traps and use pest control equipment
- Advise clients on preventive measures to avoid future infestations
- Maintain accurate records of services provided
- Follow safety protocols and government regulations
- Handle and store pesticides responsibly
- Provide excellent customer service and address client concerns
