Position Overview
We are looking for a responsible, customer-friendly, and punctual Pickup & Delivery Executive to join our Chennai operations. The executive will be responsible for safely collecting laptops from customers, delivering repaired devices back to them, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience throughout the service journey.
This role requires professionalism, good communication skills, and careful handling of customer devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Pickup & Delivery OperationsPick up customer laptops from homes, offices, and commercial establishments across Chennai.
- Deliver repaired laptops safely and on time to customers.
- Verify customer details, service requests, and device information during pickup and delivery.
- Ensure all devices are handled carefully to avoid physical damage during transportation.
- Obtain customer signatures or digital acknowledgements during pickup and delivery.
- Collect service payments (cash, UPI, card, or online confirmation) whenever applicable.
- Deposit collected payments and submit records to the finance team.
- Customer ServiceRepresent Gozerve professionally while interacting with customers.
- Explain the pickup and delivery process clearly.
- Provide basic updates regarding service timelines whenever required.
- Escalate customer concerns or urgent requests to the service center promptly.
- Maintain courteous and professional communication at all times.
Operational Responsibilities
- Plan efficient travel routes to optimize daily pickups and deliveries.
- Coordinate with the service center regarding device status and delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of pickups, deliveries, payments, and customer acknowledgements.
- Report delays, damaged devices, or customer issues immediately.
- Ensure company-issued equipment and delivery materials are properly maintained.
- Required QualificationsMinimum qualification: Higher Secondary (12th Pass) or equivalent.
- Previous experience in delivery, logistics, courier, or field operations is preferred.
- Valid two-wheeler driving licence is mandatory.
- Own two-wheeler is preferred.
- Familiarity with Chennai roads and local areas.
- Ability to use smartphones, Google Maps, and mobile applications.
Skills Required
- Good communication skills in Tamil. Basic English is preferred.
- Customer-friendly attitude with professional behaviour.
- Punctual and dependable.
- Strong sense of responsibility and honesty.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
